being too careful or second guessing is definitely a good one. That has been my most important task. But also coupled with patience, which I guess, is knowing I learn something new every day, that I am not excellent, but that talent is willing to be hardworking
so is being skeptical
and especially that work takes time, like athletes, you can't get great in five days (M. Richard)
The will to win is more critical than someone’s (or even my) skill to win.
I’d go further and say, The shared will, want and desire to win is more critical than skill to win. I’ve been a part of some groups, teams and even family that have been as supportive as I have been to their (and our) efforts, shared goals and aspirations.
It is true, many times the will to win I share with my loved ones has sustained me through my weak moments. As independent as we like to appear, in reality, we need each other.
That was one my favorites as well. I've gotten stuck a few times due to my stubbornness. Sometimes a quality, sometimes a weakness.. and the difference is at the flexibility to readapt.
Wow, Nanda. I really needed this! I read your post a few days late - but it's right on time for me this morning. I need this motivation as I am at a turning point and trying to overcome the fear and anxiety that keeps me from joyfully pursuing what I know is my purpose. What is stopping me - fear of failure. Thank you for shifting my focus to the journey and the lessons life offers - not the unknown results. Best wishes ♥️
This is why I loved reading other people's stories. Memoir or biography, they all have something in common which is to give hope. Not one person has written a memoir without discussing the hardships. The failings, the mental battles, the more downs than ups. It takes a lot to succeed, which is why Identifying with others helps in that journey.
My journey on Substack alone is an example of this phenomenon. I'm sure lots of others would agree. Starting out, you know nothing. You've seen nothing. You improve as you write, learn as you go, and ultimately grow with the community.
" the places they have reached without ever considering how many times they had to reroute or how long it took them to get there." Couldn't have been said better. Thank you for sharing.

Love this - Trusting intuition without considering the learning curve might turn into a sloppy work

These are all really strong, key statements! I particularly like the stick ability and flexibility one
